walkthrough

Most projects run twelve to twenty weeks. You will know what is happening, what it costs and what happens next at every stage.
01Discovery call
A short conversation about the space, the scope and the budget — plus whether we are the right fit. No charge, no obligation.
02Concept & drawings
We survey the property, then develop layouts, materials and a full design package you can actually build from.
03Build & coordination
We hold the schedule, brief the trades and run site visits so the detailing on paper survives contact with the job site.
04Styling & reveal
Furnishings, art and lighting placed, photographed, and handed over with the care list for everything we specified.

KD Designs is an Atlanta-based interior studio working on homes across the city and nationwide — from single-room renovations to ground-up custom builds.
You work with the same team from the first sketch through to the last cushion. No handoffs between departments, no guessing what the drawings meant, no one asking you to repeat yourself.

Do you work outside Atlanta?
Yes. The studio is based in Atlanta, but we take on custom builds and whole-home projects nationwide — we travel for site visits and work with local trades we brief and manage.
What does full-service actually include?
Concept and space planning, drawings and elevations, material and finish specification, custom millwork, furniture and lighting, contractor coordination and on-site visits through to styling and handover.
Can you work with my builder or architect?
Often, and happily. We can join an existing team as the interior lead, or bring our own trades to a project you already own. Either way, you keep one point of contact.
How long does a project take?
A single-room renovation typically runs twelve to sixteen weeks from concept to reveal. Whole-home remodels and custom builds run longer — you get a realistic schedule in writing before anything starts.
Do you take on small projects?
We take on whole rooms and up. Our minimum project scope keeps the level of detail we are known for realistic on every job we accept.
How does pricing work?
Design fees are quoted per project once we understand the scope, and are separate from construction and furnishings. You will see the full picture before you commit to anything.
